Max--Shitzu

This little bundle of energy belongs to my friend and neighbor, Jack. Or should I say that he and his family belong to Max? They've had him only a few months.
Jack lives right across the fence from me and I couldn't ask for a better friend. This painting is my meager gift to him for all the help he has given me on maintaining my property.

I had done a painting for him as a Christmas gift to his wife in Dec. '08. Here it is for comparison. I made the new painting in the same media and size, with compatible colors so the two pieces would go well together on the wall.

    What a great piece and I love how you made sure it went well with the other painting (size and color). Max will be loved and you are a loving neighbor to do this for the help they give you. That is what it is all about. Did I mention Love a lot.......ok one more time

    How nice of you to paint this unusual composition, Dean! By placing the doggie like that, it faces the spectator and communicates directly with them. Impossibly cute!
