Reflections On Life-Still Life
Oil on 7x5 hardboard.
This is my submission to the DPW Challenge. Susan Abbott was in charge this week.
It went like this: Set up: One or two white objects on patterned fabric. Strong natural or artificial light from one side, if possible.
Use only primary and secondary colors for this painting (reds, yellows, blues, violets, oranges, greens. If working in oil and acrylic, use white). Don't use neutral pigments or earth colors from the tube, such as browns, black, grays.

This piece is great Deano.
ReplyDeleteI love the reflection on the cup.
Très belle interprétation ... J'aime le rendu de la simplicité du sujet qui lui est plus complexe à peindre.
ReplyDeleteGros bisous
Well done, Dean. I've seen these tablecloths repeatedly throughout my life so it is kind of fun seeing one in a painting!
