Tears Of Joy-Onions
Oil on 5x7 archival canvas panel.
Most everyone I know is on a quest to "loosen up" their paintings. Well, that also includes yours truly. I would like to be able to tighten up or loosen up as the situation of the painting demands. I don't believe such a goal is ever attainable....but it's the trying to get there that keeps it interesting.

So true Dean! You do have a lovely freedom in your work and your sense of colour is always so evident. Lovely glowing onions!
ReplyDeleteTrès belles nuances de couleurs pour ces oignons et j'ose espérer que vous n'ayez pas versé des larmes en peignant!

Now why am I craving a burger??? Cherries, burgers...happens every time I see a delicious painting! Love the colors here, Dean!
ReplyDeleteNice brushwork and composition! Onion paintings have an "earthiness" to them (is that a word?)
