On this venture of mine I plan to do a number of things. To post paintings which are for sale...to post a daily painting...and show some works in progress( demos). The art will be in Oils with an Acrylic sneaking in now and then.
Powerful and beautiful! I also like the reflection on the table.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your kind words. Thanks, Akiko.
ReplyDeleteLove your pears! The backlighting makes them glow. Great job on the reflections and I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteHi, Carol! I'm glad you like it. Thanks for pointing out what appealed to you.

Thank you, Edward. I had a few reservations about this one, but these comments are making me feel a little more positive.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Trevor! I, likewise, am hooked on the great art appearing on your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love the unusual, light colors and the vivid reflections. Beautiful, Dean!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gwen. I truly appreciate your comment.
ReplyDeleteDean, I'm scrolling back and am very impressed with all the work you've been doing. Great light on these pears...just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMuch appreciated, Vern!
ReplyDeleteDean, it is not just the design which is riveting here it is the way you have handled the paint in terms of reflecting the light on the fruit. It proves what you say on Don Gray's blog recently about realist/abstract painting.
