La Jolla Cove in San Diego

Oil on 5x7 gessoed hardboard.

This seascape, La Jolla Cove in San Diego, really appealed to me on this wintery day in northeast Ohio. Forecasting more white stuff tonight.
I first toned the support with alizarin crimson acrylic.
I put down generous paint where needed.

  7. Hi Robin...Thanks. I was trying to go for a lot of texture in just the right spots. I was happy with the "organic appearance".
