Oil on 12x9 archival canvas panel. Sold
On this venture of mine I plan to do a number of things. To post paintings which are for sale...to post a daily painting...and show some works in progress( demos). The art will be in Oils with an Acrylic sneaking in now and then.
love this...I have a sheltie, myself
ReplyDeletethe highlights and colors are great
nice handling of paint!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love the light you captured.
ReplyDeletenice color and contrast. Have you thought about pushing your egges more? I think more rough edges with a knife or loaded "dry" brush wuld be effective for fur.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rhonda.
ReplyDeleteHi, Larry. I try to mostly stay true to the "a stroke laid is a stroke stayed rule"(learned that from you, thanks). If I don't, it becomes quickly overworked and blended.
Hi, Toni. Thank you.
