On this venture of mine I plan to do a number of things. To post paintings which are for sale...to post a daily painting...and show some works in progress( demos). The art will be in Oils with an Acrylic sneaking in now and then.
She glows! These just keep getting better!
ReplyDeleteThe colors in this are drop dead gorgeous! I love it!
ReplyDeleteYou have an especially nice way with your animal and wildlife paintings. You must have a sensitive soul, most who can capture the spirit of an animal do.

ReplyDeleteHi, Tami and Maryanne! Thanks for those great comments. These particular colors just "happened". Don't know where or how I came up with this combo. But I was pleasantly surprised. Guess that's the fun of experimenting. I've since tried to recreate this look in several paintings, but they all fall short. But I can be stubborn and try try again.

Hello, Jan. Thanks for your kind observation. I have always studied animals since I was a kid. As I paint them I can feel this connection with the animal's attitude get stronger and stronger as the painting progresses.
