The joy of childhood seemed a great subject...so I went with the little splasher.
I wrangled myself clear out of my comfort zone, and decided to experiment with ink and acrylics. I drew and painted over a rough application of gesso. I used Uni Pin and thinned acrylic.
Nothing went according to plan...mainly because I had no plan...

This is a wonderful mixed media piece Dean. It totally captures the magic of a child in summertime. I'd love to see more done this way!
