Nowhere Fast-Hamster

Close ups

Oil on 5x7 hardboard.

This is my contribution to The Wheel Challenge at DPW posted by Carol Carmichael.
Carol wrote..."Think about the freedom that wheels bring us and paint something with them for this week's challenge."

The wheel may not bring "freedom" to this fellow, but at least there is exercise involved.
Don't feel all alone, little hamster. We all have those days once in a while.
Hope you like it!

  12. Hi there Deano!... Love this cheeky character!

Aside from the very clever "guy on the wheel" analogy inferred by the title... this painting coasts me joyfully back to many happy hours... side by side with my kids... taking in "The Adventures of Hammy Hamster".

Sweet memories of simpler.. quiet moments shared with my kids!

    Thank you!
    Good Painting!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce
