He may have played gigs on stage for big bucks. Now he sings on a corner with a tip box at his feet.

Very perceptive of you, Martine! As a matter of fact, after this was painted, I DID feel it represented me, quite unintentionally! I was a musician...and I no longer play on a stage. But the difference is...I don't play on a corner for tips...
