Backlit Cat

Close ups.

Oil on 5x7 gessoed hardboard.
Felt like doing an impressionistic...or expressionistic...well, since it's a bit of both, I'll just call it a "sionistic" style of painting. :)
Lots of paint...lots of color...lots of brushwork...lots of fun! I hope y'all like it!

  13. Dean, I LOVE your cats! But this one is especially beautiful!! Congrats!! Also.. This years state fair entries have to be on CD's... http://ohiostatefairfinearts.blogspot.com/

    I've never entered before but my friend tells me it's a really nice show.. so I figure what the heck! :) Worth a shot.. If we both get in, it would be fun to meet you in person! BTW... thanks for trying to vote for the Gallery in the Vault... they did win and I was really happy for them!! I used to own a shop similar to theirs and I know what things like that award mean sometimes!
