This is a landscape painting of Amish country in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It was done from a black and white reference photo. I love to observe sunsets, so I thought I'd refer to my memory to inject some intense color.

Thanks, Pam. I really enjoy delving into the complements...frequently battle the tendency to overdo the intensity of colors...this one I just turned loose and had fun since the color was up to us.
