Sanctuary

Close ups.

Oil on 5x7 gessoed hardboard.
After fighting with computers...telemarketing calls...woes and tribulations of the day, remember, it's all a part of the bigger plan. It's always nice to have a quiet spot to go...even if it's only in your mind. Hope this will help you a little today. Kick back on the beach...sip a cool drink...close your eyes, relax, and dream.... :)

  5. Ahh, the beach is always so relaxing Dean.
Nice textures in this one. They are very calming even with all that action in the paint.

  10. Very, very nice, Dean. This is almost exactly what you would see at the tip of Bastimentos island looking down the Caribbean shoreline...Bocas Del Toro, Panama. So much so, it kinda surprised me when I saw it.

  20. Hi, Saundra...This is from La Jolla Cove in San Diego. But I changed it considerably by eliminating some large boulders and adding palms. I think it resembles Hawaii.

  28. Hello Dean
I like the palette in this painting. They are my favourites. This is very atmospheric. I can feel the salt air wind and the spray from the crashing waves. Has always the brush strokes are your hallmark signature.
    Best Regards
