Of Loyalty And Love-Boxer

 Close ups

Oil on 7x5 gessoed hardboard.

This is my contribution to this week's WDE at Wet Canvas. Li was the gracious hostess who supplied all the great reference photos.

This was made from a photo of a beautiful dog named Legend who was loyally awaiting the return of his master. Legend simply touched my heart. Someone is very lucky to be owned by a dog like this!

This is oil on a 7x5 hardboard. This is about 95% painting knife. I liked seeing the paint do its thing.

    1. Thank you, Angela. I,too, liked that little spot of red. When I spot something like that I do my best not to paint it out by accident.
