Candy Colored Cow

Oil on 7x5 gessoed hardboard.

This is my contribution to this week's WDE at Wet Canvas. Scatty was the gracious hostess who supplied all the great reference photos.

 Just couldn't pass up the white cow! I love pushing the color all over the place on a white subject and the lighting on this cow was perfect.

This is oil on a 7x5 hardboard. All by brush....no knife this time.

    Dean, your candy-colored cow is really a beauty! I love the "candy colors", and the way you have highlighted her - even the eyelashes of her left eye. Bravo for your C.C.C. :)

      Thanks, Hilda! I have tried to push color many times before, But I believe this one stands out a little due to the fact of the higher chroma.
