There is such a wide variety of cats, and many breeds have very unique appearances.
This Himalayan is pretty captivating.
I applied the paint with brushes, and painting knife, and and put my fingers to work blending when nothing else seemed to do what I wanted.

ReplyDeleteyou are the master of the cat! This one is a real beauty....bravo!
ReplyDeleteI think he's beautiful, Dean! And the seat of the pants thing is perfect to highlight this beautiful breed.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kathryn. I was at a stage with this one where it seemed nothing would get the effect I was after with the fur. That's where the digits came in.
ReplyDeleteCeleste...What a great thing to say! Thank you! I always look forward to seeing what you're up to in your active blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sherry!I enjoyed the photo of your sis and you and that grape hat you were wearing...Lol!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful cat painting, Dean.! Himalayan cats are so elegant.
ReplyDeleteGreat painting Dean, one can really feel the fluffiness of the cat.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue nose with the yellow eyes. I feel it is a male cat and he is staring right at me as if he knows me.
ReplyDeleteYou should finger paint some more!
Absolutely love your Himalayan cat. I've been looking through your paintings and am impressed with your consistency in posting to your blog (something I'm not good with) and your dedication to producing works. Great job.
