Radiating Personality-Portrait

This is my contribution to this week's WDE at Wet Canvas. The hostess was Lin, and she provided great photos to work from.
The lady in this painting is Lin herself. The reference photo seemed to radiate character and personality. So, I gave myself the challenge to try and capture that in this painting.
It was surprising how much fun this one was! At the moment, I'm happy with it.

    There is so much of character being portrayed here with that smile and the way she closed her eyes at the glaring sun(?).. very well done!
