Brillante Weblog Award

Woah!!! What an honor. My cybor artist/friend, Ann Buckner, has selected me for this award! And here I am without a prepared acceptance speech. This is very much like Tag. It helps us to become familiar with previously undiscovered blogs. These are all artists who are in my Links.

The rules are that if the persons receiving the award decides to participate, they must:
1 - Put the logo on their blog
2 - Add a link to the person who gave them the award
3 - Nominate at least 7 other blogs
4 - Add links to those blogs on yours
5 - Leave a message on each of the blogs nominated.

My nominees are:

1 - Toni Grote.
2 - Cedar's Blog.
3 -Eileen Adele Hale: Art Blog .
4 -Kim Shields: One Painter's Perspective.
5 -Barbara Pask.
6 -Helen Percy Lystra.
7- Kathy Jurek Fine Art.

  1. Hey, Dean! Thanks for enjoying my grouping, and sharing my liking for this combination.

As for the Brillante Weblog award - WOW! - thank you so much!!! I visited your list of my fellow honorees, and I feel like I'm in very good company! I knew Toni's work already; of the others, I especially like Cedar's Blog.

I looked up Brillante Weblog Premio on Google, and found it in the museum of hoaxes; apparently there's no actual, final award, and so it's a bit like a chain letter.

Nevertheless, I feel so very honored - even if it's an expanding thing, YOU picked me for one of your seven, and I'm very excited about it! It's real to me! And actually, I think it's kind of a paradox: it isn't real - there will be no final winner - and yet it IS real, as we are receiving real honors from people we respect highly, and getting to see other people's picks...

I'm gonna put a post about it on Fine Art America, with a link to your blog so people can see (if they want) why I'm so excited that you picked me.

  2. Thank you so much for the weblog award. It feels good that there is some one out there who appreciates my work. The trouble is my knowledge of computers is very low, so how do I put the award link on my blog?

  3. Hi Dean, thank you for the award, I did post it on my blog. I think your new tiger painting is wonderful, I like how you cropped it.

  4. Hi Eileen! When I received this...I rightly assumed it would be an internet tag...basically to familiarize bloggers with each other...and to help blog readers find new blogs.
I enjoy the blogs I listed and I'm sure the new folks who check them out will do the same.

  5. Kim...your work is very good! Rest assured that there are plenty of people out there who are watching and appreciating each post...even though comments may be few and far apart.
I hope my email to you helps with your posting problem...I'm computer challenged myself...Lol
