Oil on 7x5 hardboard.This is my contribution to this week's DPW Challenge. This week, it's the Gift Challenge presented by Carol Marine.
I decided to combine it with Father's Day to kill two birds with one stone.
In looking back at some of my older art on this blog, I felt my present style is getting more understated...laid back...even ho hum perhaps???
So I decided to kick painting inhibitions in the butt with this one, and add plenty of color pizazz!
I must admit, it feels great! Exciting again!
At this point, I don't know if it's over done or too wild to even hold together as art.
I'll let you decide that for me with your comments (if you will be so kind).
