The intense gaze of a cat often gets my attention as a subject.
I pushed the color boundaries in this one a little. As an experiment, I didn't use a toned panel this time. I really missed it. Lotsa paint!

ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that you miss the tint; about two years ago, I stopped tinting my canvas and found I really enjoy working on the white canvas. Just goes to show there's more than one way to skin a cat. Oops!
Nicely done - white fur is not easy to paint!
