Oil on 7x5 hardboard.This was done for the WDE at Wet Canvas. The reference photo was graciously supplied by a lady who goes by Lisilk.... She actually lives there--lucky lady!
The photo showed this spot in all it's glorious Bahamian color. But just for the heck of it I embellished and invented and came up with this sundown scene. I'm not saying it's better than the original photo. But I can say that it now has the look of a painting and that some of my spirit lives in it.
