Oil on 5x7 archival canvas panel.I never considered doing insect subjects until I started turning out small 5x7 paintings. But subject size and canvas size seem to fit so well together.
This painting was actually posted here some time ago. I liked it too well to let it languish in a corner of the studio, so I made a few minor adjustments and reposted.
