In The Wind-Horses

This is my contribution to this week's WDE at Wet Canvas. Mo was the great hostess. Thanks for the terrific reference photos.
I liked the look/possibilities of the horses in a reference photo.
Once again, I used the palette knife for this. More and more I find the palette knife to be very freeing from the compulsion for detail. The knife is a terrific tool to inject creative expressiveness into a painting. Confession...I did use a brush for eyes, and nostrils. It was great fun.
