Break Me Off A Piece Of That Blankety Blank Bar-Cat
Oil on 7x5 hardboard.
This is my contribution to this week's DPW Challenge. It was hosted by the fabulous artist, Dreama Tolle Perry. She posted a photo of this cat. It will be great fun to see the many creative versions that are sure to come!
Once again I used the rounds in place of the usual flat brushes. I smooshed the paint on thickly and looked for spots where I could push the color and be a bit creative with it. I loved trying to render that strong sidelight!
All in all, I'm happy with it. Plenty of fun!
