Rodeo-Bronc Rider
Oil on 7x5 archival canvas panel.
It feels good to be posting again. I've been under the weather from something, but feeling a lot better now.
I'm always on the look-out for something a bit different. With that in mind, I really abandoned detail with this painting. I grabbed for emotive color and application. Painting knife and brush were both used. Hope y'all like it!

I do like it Dean, it has an energy to it. I'm glad you're feeling better, summer time illnesses can be the worst.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and sittin' a spell. Thanks for your kind comment om this style...I always appreciate how folks other than myself respond.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too sure if I had a summer illness or if it was something I ate.
