Oil on 5x7 archival canvas panel. The reference for this painting was supplied by Lori on the WDE this weekend. My fav color combo: purple, yellow, blue and orange. I really like the look of these complements working together.

Acrylic on 5x7... 3/16 thick gessoed masonite panel.
Once again, an acrylic landscape done in many layers of transparent washes. To finish, I used opaque strokes of lighter more saturated color to 'turn on the lights'.

Sunrise Landscape

Acrylic on 5x7 archival canvas panel.
Something a bit different today. Here's an acrylic which was done with many transparent layers, then completed with some opaque strokes. I painted(and sold) a few of these several years ago before I became completely captivated by oils.
This style was first spotted by me on Wet Canvas by a successful artist who went by the name of MJT. I told him how much I liked his work, and he said go ahead and try it. We corresponded a lot...he was very gracious and sharing artist. Thanks, MJT!!
