Leader Of The Pack-Goslings

 Close ups

Approx. 5x7 graphite on Canson 100 lb. Bristol paper. Slight use of colored pencil for variety.

This is my contribution to this week's WDE at Wet Canvas. Li was the gracious host this week who provided a bunch of colorful photos!

I really wanted to do a painting of these goslings, But since I was running short of time went a quicker route...graphite.

C&C welcome. Thanks for looking and commenting.

  1. Dean, your graphite work is spectacular! I've always loved when a drawing escapes its borders; it lends so beautifully to the depth of the piece. I had to scroll back up and look again since I didn't even notice the colored pencil! Well done!

  2. Good morning Dean... Cute... Crisp and Colourful. Could be an apt and accurate description of this lovely sketch.

Could also be appropriate names for this tiny duckling threesome! HA HA!!! Couldn't resist Dean!

    Good Painting!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce
