Personality Plus-Portrait

Close ups

Graphite on mat board, approx. 8.5x5.5.

This is my contribution to this week's WDE at Wet Canvas. Sue did a great job of hosting this week and provided a bunch of terrific photos!

This is Sue,. She was the hostess this week. I just had to try sketching her portrait. Loads of character and personality. The viewer can't help but wonder, "what is she thinking??".

  3. Good Morning Dean!... Happy New year!

What a great start for 2014! Introspectively saucy... "eye-catching"?... No... fully engaging! Every morsel of pencil placed perfectly!

"Be constant..." and pour and paint out your soul... as you have here!

    Good Painting,
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

  4. If I were Sue, I would be thrilled with this wonderful portrait. I love the composition with her eyes looking at you and placement of the frame around her. Just great!

  7. Dear Dean - this is awesome. Your drawing skills are truly excellent. Thanks for sharing. Also love your scripture verse - now if I can just do it.
Rejoicing with hope is not hard - the patience in tribulations is more of a challenge (LOL) - Have a great day.
