Visions Of Walruses Danced In His Head-Polar Bear

 Close ups

Oil on a 7x5 canvas panel.

This is my contribution to this week's WDE at Wet Canvas. Jean did a super job of hosting this week and provided a bunch of great photos!

This is my Christmas greeting to you all. Merry Christmas everybody!!

This bear's tucked in his bed while visions of seals and walruses danced in his head.
He's probably parked just outside of Santa's cottage so the ol' boy won't have that far to travel to deliver the goodies.

C&C welcome. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Remembering The Gift-Christmas

Merry Christmas

Close up

Oil on 6x6 canvas panel.

This painting was originally posted on Christmas of 2011. It just seems to apply to this year...so here it is once more.

I keep our Savior uppermost in my heart.
The true spirit of Christmas is giving and...what you give is Love.
You will receive more back than what you gave...
The wrapped gifts are symbolic...
The true gift is love.

I would like to use this post to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May your brushstrokes flow as though guided from above, and may your fondest dreams come true in the upcoming year.
Thanks to all my blogger friends for all your kind support through the great trail and trial of canvas and paint.
God bless you all.

Luke 2:7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

  2. P. S. I really love the Christmas-y polar bear! Hopefully he'll enjoy cookies and candy canes and Coke (remember those commercials) and leave the seals and walruses enjoy their holiday too!
