As usual, I first toned the surface with acrylic. And as usual, I'm never real sure of when to stop. I could have stopped earlier or continued on. I kinda like it where it's at right now, so stick a fork in it...it's done. Hope ya like it!

This is a painting in which I pushed the color to beautiful effect. The brush strokes are expressive and make a great textured painting. The background is a rich, red acrylic. The contrast between the acrylic and oil is a nice touch!

Gray Rabbit

Here's a colorful 'gray' rabbit. I really enjoy punching up color to add excitment to a painting! This little guy received touches of Ultr. & Thalo Blue, Aliz. Cr., and Burnt Sienna.
The oils were applied thickly in selected areas for an interesting surface.
