Here's my ol' friend, the standing brown bear. This painting has been on my blog twice before. The 1st time, there was little reaction, so for take #2 I repainted the background which I felt was a nice improvement. Still not much reaction which in my thinking = a flop. This time I repainted the sky and did a lot of work on the bear. Well, here he is again all groomed and brushed out, ready for inspection. Hope you like it.
If you think that I'm stubborn...maybe I am (a little...Lol). But the larger fact is that I look upon this repainting as a challenge in problem solving. A very helpful learning tool.
Oil on 14x11 archival canves panel.
