Poser-Girl Portrait

 Close up
 Approx. 9" X 7".

This is a little girl from Dewi's WDE a while back..
It was done on Cotman Water Colour Pad...
I used Tombow Pen, Pigma Brush Pen, General's Sketch And Wash Graphite Pencil plus HB graphite pencil.
I enjoyed trying out the qualities and potential of these tools.
Thanks for looking!

  2. Good afternoon Dean... An engaging and very sensitive rendering of this young lady!

You have captured... and frozen the moment with very enviable draughtsmanship and economy of line!

I love the unconventional use of the figure reaching ... beyond the normal limits of the frame!... Cool!

    Good Painting and drawing!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

    1. Thanks, Bruce, my friend! I was aiming for economy of line. I'm glad you think I made it.
For quite a few years I have enjoyed stretching a portrait study beyond a drawn "frame" for interest.

    1. I have always enjoyed portraits in graphite, Steinunn! You might say that I "cut my teeth" on them years ago.
