Oil on 8x10 canvas panel.I was browsing around upstairs where my old studio used to be. I came across this painting from 1999. The more I looked at it, the more things I saw in it that I liked. I used to paint completely in acrylic...this painting represents one of my first endeavors to resume painting with oils. An artists style takes many twists and turns as influences are encountered through the years. I am constantly wondering am I responding to the best ones. I guess ya might say that I'm always in a state of re-appraisel of my work. Maybe I'll do a few more along this line.
