Windows-Rousillon, France

Close ups

Oil on 7x5 canvas panel.

My submission for WDE at Wet Canvas this week. The reference photo is a scene from Rousillon, France and was supplied by Joan.

I used the palette knife quite a bit on this one. I really liked using it for doing basically straight edges quickly. Very handy for architecture.

12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

San Francisco Victorian

Oil on 7x5 gessoed hardboard.
This is my submission for Karin Jurick's DSFDF. Architecture has never been one of my strengths when it comes to subject matter. So this week's challenge dragged me kicking and screaming out of my comfort zone. Thanks, Karin...I needed that.
