I knew I had to try this one from the moment I first saw it. Love...faith...positive vibes...all with the ocean as a backdrop signifying depth and timelessness.
Unending.Well, enough of that. This is oil on a 7x5 hardboard that was first coated with black gesso. I like how the black primer helps me to judge colors.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fabulous, Dean. You are so amazing! And that verse is perfection for this piece. I too like the black preparation for pieces. It seems to bring such depth and richness to the paint laid over the top of it.
