First I drew the kids on the canvas panel. I went over some important lines using a Sharpie. Then I toned it using thinned acrylic alizarin crimson.

  1st Hr.

 Working from the mid value toned support, it was easier to judge my lights and darks. I tried to keep the paint thick in the lighter colors for interest. I had a lot of fun with this one!

 It's snowing again here tonight, so I'm sure looking for Spring. It seems that these kids are intently looking for something too....Spring, maybe??
